20 Feb 2022 : A new building at Kikuuta Islamic School was named The Dr. Anas Abdunoor Kaliisa Block in Memory of Dr. Sheikh Anas Abdunoor Kaliisa. Dr. Kaliisa is seen in the B&W photo (in checkered suit, holding a cane) during a ground breaking ceremony of the school in 1975. The Ribbon Cutting for naming the school building was officiated by Dr. Kaliisa's son Fauzi Anas Kaliisa.
