The Kariisa Foundation was established by the Kariisa family in memory of the late Hajji Abdunoor Kariisa. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the well-being of humanity mainly in Uganda where the late Hajji Abdunoor started from humble beginnings during the second world war.

Today the Kariisa Foundation advances new frontiers of innovation to solve challenges related to education, health, food, and community development through creative partnerships and innovative investments.
