The CEO of Next Media Services, Dr. Kin Ibrahim Kariisa commited to upgrade the maternity ward
of Rubaare Health Centre IV in Ntungamo district where he was born. The pledge
was made on 29th July 2022 after commissioning a mosque in the same area which
was constructed by Islamic Centre for Education and Research (ICER) In the company of
Ntungamo District Qadhi, officials from ICER and family members, Kin promissed
to celebrate his 2023 birthday at the hospital while handing over the finished
pledge to the management of the hospital.
The ICER also promised to support the health center with 20,000 liters of water tank, ten
wheelchairs and other assorted equipment to be used by the hospital. They
promised to deliver the pledge in a shortest period.
Kin thanked the hospital for their extra work and reminded them that they sheltered his family
during the war of 1979 when he was three years old.
He was received by the hospital board Chairman, management and Doctors who thanked him for a great work especially taking a lead in transforming the Nation through Media.
