4 Nov 2024: Dr. Sheikh Anasi Kaliisa was honored with a lifetime achievement award by Al Mustafa Academy for his contribution to Quran Sciences. A students' Quran Competition was organized by the Academy in his honor. The Guest of honor was His Eminence Sheikh Ali Waiswa, the Deputy Mufti of Uganda. Sheikh Waiswa was Dr. Kaliisa's schoolmate and roommate both at Madina University as well as Makerere University for their masters degrees.
