5 Sep 2024: Dr. HAK, Chairman of Ruhaama Development Initiative (RDI) was the guest of honor at several giveaway ceremonies conducted in the first week of September, 2024. The Annual Giveaway ceremony is an initiative by RDI in collaboration with the Kariisa Foundation which aims to improve living standards of the Ruhaama community.

Items distributed during Dr. HAK's visit included essential scholastic material, more than 50 sets of sewing machines, 13 sets of CCTV for Ruhaama Secondary School, Hospital equipment, clothes for men, women and children including 20 brand new suits, hijabs and sweaters, over 20 sets of wheelchairs and Zimmer frames, 3 laptops, more than 50 reflectors for motor cyclers and much more.
